New Review

Love, Rosie (2014). Soppy Cinema strikes again. You know when I said Me Before You was preposterous, and laughable – Love, Rosie flirts with going the same way, but remarkably just teeters on the cute side of things. Claflin and Collins are a delightful duo, and although there are cliches galore, there is relatable content througout. I just love that throughout the whole film, Rosie and Alex’s friendship is more important to them than romance – through various hardships, they don’t want to succumb to their feeling in the danger of ruining the one perfect constant throughout. Quite simply, if you like romantic films, and you’re in the mood for one steeped in love, then Love, Rosie is one for you.
Rating: 8 stars.
